Jensen / Amador Neighborhood Overview

The Jensen/Amador neighborhood in Pleasanton is located just off Santa Rita Rd. between Valley Ave. and Downtown Pleasanton. The central location of the Jensen/Amador neighborhoods offers walking distance to Alisal Elementary, Harvest Park middle and Amador High School.

Jensen/Amador Neighborhood was built in the 1960’s by Jensen and Devmar. Here is an ad from the 1960’s for the Amador Estates.

The Jensen/Amador Estates offer single story homes with a location walking distance to Downtown Pleasanton and the Safeway shopping center.

Residents of Jensen/Amador in Pleasanton have the fortune of having some of the top schools in the area. Pleasanton schools have been recognized as one of “California’s Distinguished Schools” and it is a recipient of the “National Blue Ribbon Award.”
