Pleasanton Valley Homeowners and the Amador Field
May 1, 2007
Homeowners on Gatetree Cir. in Pleasanton Valley voiced their concerns to Amador Principal Bill Coupe at a meeting last week. They are concerned about the walkway on Gatetree Circle that leads to Amador. Students are being dropped off at the Gatetree Cir. walkway, and with Amador’s new field expansion neighbors want to see an end to the high traffic on their street. 10 homeowners voiced their concerns to Coupe who agreed to construct a fence to keep students from cutting through the football field to the school. The new path would lead to the front parking lot near the tennis courts.
The new field will have 3,500 seats – 2,500 on the home side and 1,000 on the visitor side. During low attendance events the visitor side will be closed to help reduce noise
