Staples Ranch in Pleasanton Info

Full speed ahead was the vote from the Pleasanton Parks & Rec comission on Thursday regarding the Staples Ranch development in Pleasanton. What is the Staples Ranch project in Pleasanton:
- 124 Acres of unincorporated land owned by Alameda County
- 7 Acre site for the proposed Sharks facility of a 116,000 sf. building with 4 rinks and parking lot
- Hendrix Auto Group is relocating from their current location to a 37 acre lot accessable from 580 only
- Stoneridge Creek Continuing Care Facility
- Retail (Let me know if you have more information)
- Community Park with tennis courts, dog park, recreational facitities… still up for debate
- El Charro Interchange will get some needed upgrades too Fallon Interchange
BUT NOT SO FAST… What the developer brings to the table
- Sharks developer must pay for development of community park that could be $5 Million
- Contribute to phase 2 of Bernal project lighting of sports fields
- Sharks facility and park completed simultaniously
