Whole Foods Dublin, CA – Former IKEA Location
February 27, 2008
Whole Foods in Dublin, CA is the first tenant signed by Blake Hunt Ventures to be located at the 28-acre ‘Green on Park Place’. Whole Foods will be the largest store on the Green and will be 50,000 square feet. Whole Foods in Dublin is also the location IKEA had eyed since 2003 when they purchased 27.4 acres for $29.9 million. Blake Hunt now controls the entire property after recently acquiring 13 acres last fall. The Whole Foods store will only be a part of the entire ‘Lifestyle Center’ located at the southwest corner of Hacienda Dr and Martinelli Way. What are your thoughts on the new Whole Foods development and The Green on Park Place?

Got something to say?

I know that there were talks for it to be across the street from the villas and the safeway shopping center so I am bummed that it is not there but stoked that it will still be close by. Having a Whole Foods in the area is definitely a big thing.
Great new Green fact. Whole Foods is one of the first stores to eliminate plastic grocery bags. Not to bad to have an upper scale grocery store to help the areas appearance and home prices.
Whole Foods seems to be making moves on both coasts – there is a rumor that Whole Foods will add a 3rd store in downtown Boston (South End), still to be confirmed, but interesting news.
